Brace released his first single in 2004 called 'Vraag Jezelf Eens Af' (Ask Yourself Once Once Af), but before that he already managed to turn the spotlight on himself with guest contributions on songs by Lange Frans, Baas B and
Ali B. Vraag Jezelf Once Af was very well received by the Dutch listeners and ended up on the 9th place in the Top 100
In the run-up to his debut album Strijder, Brace released his second single Hartendief ft. Ali B out. The track came in at number 7 of the Top100. On the album Strijder, the singer managed to get Brainpower , Lange Frans and Baas B to collaborate
In 2007 followed his second album called Dilemma. Two years later Brace was asked for a special international collaboration with Akon . On the song Beautiful Brace provided the Dutch lyrics and vocals.
The following years Brace disappeared from the spotlight for a while. In 2015 he made his big comeback with his participation in The Voice of Holland ( TVOH ), where he surprised comrade and jury member Ali B. The following years followed the singles Alone, Flink Zijn and Liar who were well received!
in the year 2018 Brace participated in the programme 'Best Singer' on the public broadcaster . Here he covered song like: World Without You, Paramaribo, Why Tell Me Why, Ride It, Besame Mucho, Jailhouse Rock and Ave Maria. He played these songs for his colleagues Kenny B, Anita Meyer, Tommie Christiaan and Maan. The song that especially impressed the Dutch audience was his rendition of Ave Maria. After his performance on television many requests came in for weddings and funerals.
