Together with Jiggy Djé , Wudstik , Darin G , Clenn , MR. Fonc , Hux B , Grandmaster Jan and UrbQ formed Diggy Dex in 1998 the hiphop formation DAC and released the hits Springstof and Doorhalen

After the group split up in 2005, Koen Jansen ( Diggy Dex ) decided to focus on his solo career. In 2006 he released his debut album 'Verhalen Vanuit De Sofa' (Stories from Sofa). In the run up to his release he released the three singles: ' Dubbeldik ', ' Verhalen Vanuit De Sofa ' and ' Vier Woorden '. On his debut the rapper was assisted by former group members Jiggy Djé , Wudstik and Grootmeester Jan.

Three years later Diggy scores his first big hit called Slaap Lekker (Fantastic anyway). Together with Eva de Roovere he is 15 weeks in the Dutch Top40, 17 weeks in the Mega Top50 and the Flemish Ultra Top50.

in 2015, his hard work will once again be rewarded with a BUMA Award for best Dutch-speaking Single. He will receive this award for his single Treur Niet (Ode To Life), which was in the top 40 for 17 weeks and also went platinum. A year later Diggy has another hit with his single Ik Huil Alleen Bij Jou in collaboration with rapper Ali B.
In 2017 the rapper from Amersfoort will be the first hiphop act in the Royal Theatre Carré with his own show.

Besides writing his own songs, Diggy Dex also writes for others. He wrote the songs Live by Andre Hazes and Blue Day by Suzan & Freek.
