Bonnie St. Claire has been a welcome guest at parties, festivals and other events for over 50 years. But where did it all begin for Bonnie? It was in the year 1967 when she got a recording contract from singer and radio DJ Peter Koelewijn. Soon her first single "Tame Me Tiger" was released.

After 'Tame Me Tiger' the singer released several more English-language songs and she was successful with them, some hits from that time were 'I Won't Stand Between Them', 'Mañana Mañana' and 'Let Me Come Home Mama'.

In 1972, she collaborated with the band 'Unit Gloria'. At that time, Unit Gloria was a popular pop band that also played in America. Together they released the song 'Clap Your Hands And Stamp Your Feet' which reached the No. 3 spot in the Single Top 100. It was later followed by 'Waikikiman' and 'Voulez-Vous'. These singles also reached high charts.

In 1976 Bonnie scored a No. 1 hit with the song 'Rocky'. This Collaboration with Don Mercedes stayed at number one on the National Hit parade for two weeks.

In the same year Bonnie surprised friend and foe with the song 'Doctor Bernhard'. With this song Bonnie went in a new direction with a smartlap. She made this song together with Ron Brandsteder who played the role of Doctor Bernhard in the song.

Her next hit that year was 'Ik Ben Gelukkig Zonder Jou' which was a cover of Conny Vandenbos. Bonnie reached the sixth place in the charts with this.

In the 80s Bonnie released the songs 'Bonnie Kom Je Buiten spelen', 'Pierrot', 'Jij En Ik' and 'Sla Je Arm Om Me Heen'. These songs all reached the top 25 in the Single Top 100.

In 1991, Bonnie released her next hit: 'Tomorrow Everything Will Be Different'. For a performance in 2007 during Gerard Joling's 'Stout en Nieuw' party the song was given a new look. This was so well liked that they decided to release the song together.

Bonnie St. Claire performed three times at the party Toppers In Concert. Here she sang her greatest hits together with De Toppers and Ron Brandsteder.

In 2011 she participated in the popular program 'Ali B Op Volle Toeren'. In this program Ali B together with rapper Darryl made a new version of the song "Bonnie Kom Je Buiten spelen?". Bonnie in turn sang her own version of Darryl's hit 'Eeyeeyo'.

Nowadays, Bonnie still performs a lot and can be seen on TV and in movies. She has had small roles in the films "Eddie the Movie" and "Bob Goossens, Low Budget Stuntman.
