The NightCats makes dance itch, cheerfulness, nostalgia and let the sun shine everywhere.
With specially written arrangements this BigBand has already shown to not only create atmosphere at festivals and parties, but also to be able to offer a swinging evening filling concert for a critical listening audience in the theatre or theatre.

The broad basic repertoire of this band consists of nice jazzy arrangements of contemporary music with not always obvious, but always good by ear, lying arrangements of their own. Certainly not the standard big band repertoire we come across everywhere!

The energy is splashing off. It sparks, sands, swings and creaks and then suddenly there is a beautiful ballad with an alto sax solo. Lyrical, soulful and energetic. You can feel the inspiration that the musical leader Patrick Schmidt knows how to convey to the band.

A few years ago the newspaper already described the orchestra as the most swinging band of the Brabant Kempen. Of course they play a lot in the Kempen but also outside with a wide variety of excellent soloists. The band members themselves are all enthusiastic soloists and ensemble players and in many cases active in several orchestras in the region.
