Werner Callebaut is a passionate beer and chocolate lover who, through Bierolade, has dedicated himself in recent years to creating successful pairings between these two top Belgian products. I’ll share my passion for delicious local beers and surprising chocolate flavors through interesting stories peppered with humor.
The price for the Beer and Chocolate Tasting Masterclass is €38 (excluding 21% VAT) per participant, and the minimum number of participants is 10. Together, we’ll enjoy three delicious beer and chocolate pairings during a Bierolade tasting masterclass. The session lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.

craft beers offer a harmonious flavor profile with the chocolate or provide a bold contrast. With fun “did-you-know” facts and colorful beer stories, I’ll take you on a journey through the rich and fascinating history of Belgian beer. Why is Belgium the land of beer and chocolate? Is it a coincidence that there are so many references to beer in the Dutch language? How can you best taste, smell, and enjoy beer and chocolate?
Top local chocolatiers. The pralines are always crafted by a top local chocolatier. You’ll discover everything from classic pralines to more surprising combinations with unusual ingredients. How about a wasabi truffle or a praline filled with apple strudel? The shapes and colors are a true feast for the eyes.

We had planned a Christmas outing with our company to Leuven and searched via google for a suitable activity. A lot of people in our team love beer and chocolate, so a workshop about both was a perfect fit. The location, Mint 13 where the largest chocolate coin is displayed, was very special and contributed to the enthusiastic atmosphere. What stood out was Werner's enormous expertise in the field of both beer and chocolate. We received a lot of information and everything was simply delicious. We were allowed to taste six original beers that we would never have chosen ourselves, but that was the fun part. There were even a few strong beers between 8 and 10% and as the tasting progressed the atmosphere became more exuberant, but Werner could handle it perfectly. The chocolate jumped out again...
