Whispering Woods consists of two old souls who found each other in the love of old blues, jazz, country and ragtime.

Folk music from the North of America that is now a century old, but to this day has an immense influence on music history.

Music from a period when the story and the song were central and the concept of "singer songwriter" was born.

Born out of the interface between the culture of the black African continent and the white musical tradition of Europe.

The impressive voice and harmonica of Geert and the accompaniment on fingerpicking and slide guitar, banjo and mandolin of Jan make us dream away to another world.

Mysterious and earthy, raw and romantic, humorous and sad, dynamic and moving, adventurous and heartwarming....

So expect lots of acoustic blues, ragtime and beautiful songs that can still enchant you after a century.
