Hans was a member of several choirs in his youth and everyone in his family played the accordion. At a young age Hans saw his grandparents fill up the dance floor at weddings with their accordion playing. Entertaining was therefore something that Hans picked up at an early age.

From the age of 18, Hans started boxing professionally and unfortunately the entertaining activities had to be put on a back burner. After ending his boxing career, Hans luckily had more free time and 10 years ago he picked up the microphone again. Hans recorded CD's with Ronnie Tober and Bennie Solo and in the past he also played several characters. Hans also performs solo under the name Hans Carras and has released several singles in recent years.
