By now everyone is familiar with Wolter Kroes, the smiling singer can often be found on TV and on stages. It all started in Wolter's childhood.

Wolter started playing music at an early age, when Wolter was still in primary school, he already took drum lessons. But Wolter later discovered his passion that we all know him from: Singing.

At the age of 20 Wolter releases his first single: "I Miss You A Little More Every Day".
In 1995 the big breakthrough came for Wolter, the single 'Laat Me Los' was his first song in the Dutch charts. The single was followed by the eponymous album. The album was also a hit and was in the charts for 7 weeks.

In 2000 Wolter Kroes released two more big hits with 'I Have The Whole Night Lying Dreams' and 'You Are All For Me'. Ik Heb De Hele Nacht liegen Dromen' was released again in 2006 in collaboration with Guillermo and Tropical Danny.

Due to the success of his hits a big concert couldn't be avoided, so in 2002 and 2003 he gave a performance in the Heineken Music Hall

In 2004 he gave a performance in Ahoy in front of 10.000 fans. The following year he did this again and Wolter performed twice in a sold out Ahoy.

In 2008 Wolter released his first number 1 hit: 'Viva Hollandia'. But the song wasn't an instant hit. The song was first released in April. Only when the song got a European Championship version in May it became the number 1 hit we all know.

2014 is the year in which Wolter released his second number 1 hit. The single 'Ik Ben Je Preoi' was a collaboration with Isabella Smit from the reality series Utopia. Utopia is a programme in which the participants are filmed 24/7 during their stay on the terrain.

In addition to his musical career, Wolter has turned himself into a TV personality, as can be seen in various TV shows such as Best Singers of the Netherlands, Maestro, Stelletje Pottenbakkers and of course his wedding that was broadcast live on TV. Wolter is also a welcome guest at the TROS Music Festival on the TROS Square. He has performed several times at the Dutch Music Festival.

Wolter can also be seen on YouTube, he participated in StukTV's 'Hunting Season' and was featured in the popular YouTube show 'Dumpertreeten'.
Many people also know Wolter as the face of the Friends Lottery. As an ambassador he regularly makes people happy with big cash prizes.

Wolter performs all year round, you can find him at tent parties, carnival parties, and catering establishments. But Wolter likes to make time for private parties or corporate events, he is a welcome guest at receptions, weddings and anniversaries.
