If you ask a couple what was the most emotional moment on their wedding day, you will often hear:the music during the ceremony. Just think of Máxima, who couldn't keep dry in front of the altar when "Adios Nonino" was played. Violinist Anne and viola player Melanie (played a.o. with Marco Borsato, Nick & Simon and Het Brabants Orkest) of Duo Mélange are very aware of this. As professional musicians they regularly witness such a special moment at a wedding and understand how important it is for a wedding couple to make that moment as personal as possible. Therefore, they feel it is important for the bride and groom to be able to hear "their" song.
The price given is
based on €500 euro for the first hour. Each additional hour booked costs €110 euro. This price is based on the existing repertoire and is an indication.
Duo Mélange has an extensive repertoire, but on request can have your favorite piece arranged especially for you. A specially arranged piece will affect the price. Please leave your specific wishes in the application and receive an appropriate customized proposal!
Melanie van Overbeeke (viola) and Anne van Eck (violin) are professional musicians, Master of Music graduates of the Conservatory of Music. In a solemn ceremony, the two violins add atmosphere, much more than, say, music from a CD or iPod. And where most ensembles only know the classical repertoire, they play any song from any style. This is possible because they work with an arranger. He arranges the favorite songs of the wedding couple especially for them so they sound beautiful and recognizable on violin. So besides being personal, the music is also unique. They previously played music from the movie "Amélie," an Arabic pop song or a song by Marco Borsato. So that was performed only once; at the wedding of the couple who wanted to hear those songs.
