Be the Tree is an interactive video installation that allows its user to merge their face in real time with the crown of a blossoming tree. By just projecting the user's face, branches and leaves become part of the hairstyle and his man and tree become one for a moment.
It is also possible to take a photo on location of the visitors tree face and print it out immediately on high gloss postcard format

Bio:
In addition to photography, video artist Jasper 'Toeli' Hieronymus van den Elshout studied 3D animation, music composition and the craft of cameraman. After 9 years of media training, he graduated as a Digital Video Designer with a passion for interactive installations. Already in his 2nd year
DATADOX was nominated for the HKU mediale and Heraclitus' River was part of an exhibition at the world famous EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam. Be the Tree is still a crowd favorite at loads of nature summer festivals. In addition to his documentaries and video clips he developed magical holographic projections for various (inter)national opera and theater productions
