An ancient tradition in China is the lion dance. Within Chinese culture, the lion dance represents good luck and prosperity and is performed to chase away evil spirits. Combined with the loud sound of cymbals, a gong, a drum and sometimes fireworks, the spirits are frightened off and driven away. In ancient times, this dance was performed only for the emperor. Nowadays, there is almost no Chinese festival without a lion dance in China.

We organize theme drinks every quarter, last Thursday was Chinese New Year, year of the Dragon and the dragon dance could not be missed, we got more than we expected, in different 2 shows of 5 to 7 minutes!! From nun-chucks to dragon tail dance with whip to the ribbon dance. The audience loved it. really recommended

De show is goed ontvangen, locatie van ons feest was de Euromast in Rotterdam, vrij lage plafonds, waardoor echte acrobatiek niet kon, maar alle gasten hebben genoten, de leeuw danste zich door de mensen heen en werd met veel applaus onthaald. Ook de muzikanten verdienen een pluim! Ook onze Chinese collega's waren onder de indruk! Helaas kan er geen fimpje worden ge-upload.
