After releasing numerous CD's and other music productions, including several world tours, Saskia has distinguished herself as the very best trumpeter in the Netherlands and ambassador of the Amersfoort Jazz Festival. In 4 shows of 10 minutes she manages to create a special atmosphere with her sound effects. Saskia is highly regarded when it comes to entertainment and has a high musical content.

Saskia Laroo needs almost no explanation as a professional, international artist. In the American press she was already referred to as Lady Miles Davis of Europe. For decades she has been a popular musician who often plays together, as a musical duo, with the American Warren Byrd. She studied music at the University of Amsterdam and taught at Music Pedagogical Academy, the Sweelinck Conservatory.
