Biography:
Kees & Ko is a duo that’s truly a jack-of-all-trades. Parties, weddings, receptions, but also fairs, carnivals, wild parties—it doesn’t matter to these guys. Their outfits are tailored to the party or theme, ranging from smart and neat to outrageously tacky; whatever you want.
Their repertoire is incredibly broad. From Dutch to German, from brand-new songs that have just hit the Megacharts to all-time greatest hits. From Robin Schultz to Avicii, from Peter Beense to André Hazes (Jr. and Sr.), from Armin van Buuren to Swedish House Mafia, from the Beatles to Guus Meeuwis—in short:
aaaalmost anything is possible.
This comes as no surprise when you take a closer look at who Kees & Ko actually are. Singer Kees Klaassen has been the frontman of the nationally renowned band Flair for many years; keyboardist Leo van der Fluit has been a Flair member from the very beginning and goes by the name Ko in this duo. Together, these gentlemen bring many years of experience in the Dutch music scene. From small cafés and nightclubs to the Heineken Music Hall and the Olympic Stadium, these two have experienced just about everything.
And they still are, because they’re also still very active with Flair. One as a singer/entertainer, the other as a keyboardist/studio producer, responsible for all of Flair’s hits. The performances by Kees & Ko are a side project for both of them—just “something different” for a change.
Their enthusiasm is high, their repertoire massive, their quality outstanding, and their price super affordable.

For my mother's surprise party (70!) I booked Kees and Ko - all the way at the very tip of the Netherlands. The week before: snow and sleet. The night before: grip 2. I was even called: "Are you sure?" I thought that was already classy. We did it anyway, and they just made that harsh trip (and they were on time). And while almost half of the guests didn't show up (and they lived closer, too), Kees and Ko still made it a top-notch party. They are musically strong, and turned "oy this is going to be uncomfortable with so many cancellations" into "what a fun place" in no time. 6 stars if I could. Without a doubt highly recommended for any party or event. I have already recommended them to several friends and organizations and will continue to do so!
