Vermeegen is cheerful, busy and skillful. This combination makes him a special presenter. As a leader of workshops he is a real booster, who knows how to make all participants enthusiastic. There is no need to explain his qualities as a football analyst, only a few have discussed more matches.

As early as the 1970s, Harry Vermeegen could be heard on the radio: on Radio Noordzee and VARA Radio. He worked as a journalist for *De Tijd*, *Nieuwe Revu*, and *Panorama*. Vermeegen wrote two books about sports: *Ballenjongen*, about special encounters with soccer players, and *Voetbal & Co*.

Successful Duo
As a duo with Henk Spaan, Vermeegen caused a sensation in the 1980s with shows like “Pisa” and “Die Twee.” Together, they regularly charted in the Top 40 with hits like “De gewone man,” “Koud he?!” and “Tiet veur een pafke.” These days, he can be seen on RTL7 in the show “Mijn leven als een prof.”

American culture expert
Vermeegen knows an enormous amount about famous soccer players and can share hilarious anecdotes. What many people don’t know is that he has been living in the United States for years and has become an expert on American culture. As a master of ceremonies and host, he is equally at home speaking in both Dutch and English.
