The Drumband on Klompn provides a true spectacle. The clogs take care of the basic rhythm while the four drums take care of the other rhythms. Book now the Drumband on Klompn on ShowBird! Street theatre and animation, and perfect for shopping streets.

From the land where rust never rests and trash doesn’t exist comes the Klompn Drum Corps. The drum corps drums away merrily and always turns everything into a party!

The four pairs of clogs provide the basic rhythm. The four drummers use their six sticks to play various accompanying rhythms. At the heart of the drum band is a drum roll covered in screws. This drum roll is “programmed” with rhythms that you can turn on and off using the keyboard of an old harmonium. So you could also call it an analog drum machine or loop station.

The entire setup runs on air pressure and 24- and 12-volt power and is made from recycled materials, including 20 scrap bicycles, 3 cable reels, 3 central heating expansion tanks, the frame of a carriage, and a harmonium from 1900.
