For quite some time now, there has been a demand within the fireworks industry for fireworks that have a lower environmental impact on people, flora, and fauna. In collaboration with our Spanish partner, we have launched a development initiative to address this, and as of now, Dream Fireworks is the official supplier of a line of fireworks with a much lower environmental impact than traditional fireworks: EcoColor fireworks.

Fireworks contain various chemicals that produce the visual effects and colors. When fireworks are set off, heavy metals such as lead, barium, and chromium are typically released. In addition, other harmful substances are released, including chlorides, dioxides, smoke and particulate matter, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen and sulfur oxides.
In the production of EcoColor fireworks, these heavy metals are replaced with non-toxic substances such as lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, and cesium. This results in red, orange, violet, purple, and pink effects.

For quite some time, it has been difficult to produce the colors green and white without using heavy metals, but it has recently become possible to produce these colors in a more environmentally friendly way. As a result, virtually all colors of the rainbow are now available as EcoColor.

Please note that applying for a permit for small fireworks takes approximately 2 weeks, and this can take up to 14 weeks for a large professional show. For a small show, we maintain a safety distance of at least 40 meters from the audience, which means an 80-meter radius. For a large professional show, we maintain a safety distance of at least 120 meters from the audience, which means a 240-meter radius.

For locations where a 40-meter distance isn’t feasible—such as on stages, etc.—we’ve developed special fireworks in collaboration with our partner in Spain, which have been certified and tested for use at close range (starting at 2 meters).
