Rachel is best described as a very energetic pop band combined with classical strings. A special combination: "Pop meets Classic."

The 8-piece band calls their own work "Rachelcitrant". The repertoire is a tasty, headstrong and especially danceable mix of pop, rock and disco.

With 8 musicians in the basic line-up and 2 additional strings plus 5 horns, Rachel is now a large band that can perform versatile.

Full throttle with all the trimmings at festivals for example, but also as a semi acoustic classic rock formation or very small and intimate. All songs are written with
only vocals and guitar or vocals and piano.

Last December 2021 Rachel released their debut album "Love me Tinder" and ready to let the world hear from them.

Rachel writes from her emotion and feelings and emotions are not always the same .... she takes you on a musical journey by sharing her experiences about
depression, divorce, being single, wrong loves, not wanting a man anymore, all men and only wanting sex to falling in love.

All of this wrapped up with a healthy dose of Rachel Koomen humor. (As the niece of an ex-Lama not entirely strange)

The band consists of
drums / bass / guitar / keys / cello / violin

We can also perform our own songs classically (pop). The whole band goes acoustic then.
The Hammond/ keys are exchanged for a Harmonium and Accordion, drums by Cajon
