From axé, and batucada to samba, Brazil swings! In this energetic workshop/trainer you will be taken into the world of Brazilian rhythms. With percussion you will experience the rhythmic heartbeat of Brazil!
In our workshops we introduce you to different percussion instruments, such as agogô, caixa, pandeiro, timbal, surdo, tamborim, xequerê, reco-reco and de ganzá. ! You will also get an explanation of the social and historical context of the rhythms and instruments, focusing on popular Brazilian cultural expressions. !
Then it's time to make music together. Step by step the teacher teaches the participants to play an exhilarating samba rhythm together. The workshop is suitable for everyone. ! Rhythms during the workshop include axé, afoxé, batucada, maculelê, funk, samba and samba reggae. ! This workshop guarantees a swinging, cheerful atmosphere !
The price is indicated for a workshop for up to 25 people. The price for an extra person is €17,50.
