Quintus will have you on the edge of your seat and laughing until you cry. This show stands out because of the way he engages with the audience and handles unexpected situations.
With nothing more than a gramophone from the 1920s, you’ll witness a unique form of magical comedy. The show, in the style of silent films from the 1920s, is accompanied by fitting music.

With a healthy dose of humor, slapstick, physical comedy, and visual magic, the result is a show that defies typical expectations of a magician. The magic isn’t just meant to amaze: timing, facial expressions, movement, and theatrical situations also play an important role. Sometimes the humor arises precisely from the way a simple action spirals completely out of control.

Quintus van Amstel brings his unique stage persona to life with great attention to style and detail. The atmosphere is inspired by 1920s entertainment, evoking the charm of an old-fashioned variety show, but with a modern and accessible presentation.

The show has won several awards in the Netherlands and Belgium and is suitable for adults and young people ages 8 and up. Children can fully enjoy the visual magic and slapstick, but *Silent Magic* is explicitly a theater production for a broad audience and not a children’s show.

The show is best experienced in a traditional theater setting, where the audience can sit comfortably and focus their full attention on the performance. It is suitable for groups of approximately 50 to 250 people per performance and can be shortened if desired.

After the performance, the show can optionally be extended with walk-around magic in the foyer, lobby, or another space. There, the magic literally comes up close, and visitors have the opportunity to experience wonders up close.

Silent Magic is therefore suitable for theaters, cultural events, festivals, corporate gatherings, special occasions, and international or multilingual events where organizers are looking for an original, visual, and theatrical form of entertainment.
