How do entrepreneurs and managers from other countries experience Dutch culture? What are the typically Dutch characteristics and what can we learn from both our own culture and other cultures?

During her interactive lecture, Saskia takes us on a journey. On a journey through Dutch culture as seen and experienced by entrepreneurs and managers from other countries. At the same time, Saskia holds up a mirror to us, because: What do we ourselves know about the Netherlands? Where does our agenda culture come from, for example? Who is actually the boss here? And why do we deliberate so much? Saskia also shows us what we can learn from and about other cultures in areas such as communication, leadership and manners.

Through her work experience abroad, the trip she made around the world and the interviews she conducted for her books with entrepreneurs and managers from different countries and cultures, Saskia can tell us a lot about the Dutch (business) culture in relation to other cultures.

Saskia wrote two books: 'Tutti frutti - the success of colorful and entrepreneurial Holland', which was published in 2013, and 'Onder de zeespiegel - collaborating and living together with the Dutch', which will be released on April 24, 2017.
