'Miekes Musical Wallpaper' is ideally suited for occasions, where talking and understanding each other well is important and the music is supportive of the event. It is a live sung performance intended as a musical background, with the emphasis on the drinks/dinner moment. Accordingly, the singer sits on a stool singing.
The number of sets and the duration are negotiable. For example 1x60 minutes 2 or 3 x 30 minutes or 2x45minutes. Please mention when requesting.

When Mieke was 17 years old she sang in the Tros television program Una Voce Particolare accompanied by the Dutch Promenade Orchestra and presenter Ernst Daniel Smid. From that moment on her career took wings. Because of all the media attention she immediately became a supporting act for Do, Replay and Maud.
Just recently, in January 2022, Mieke appeared in the successful RTL4 program: 'I Can See Your Voice' in which she showed her Jazzy qualities to the great satisfaction of the Panel. (Edsilia Rombley, Jeroen van der Boom, Danny de Munck Marieke Elsinga, Carlo Boszhard and Fred van Leer).
Mieke has put in many hours as lead singer of various
all-round bands. After years of doing a lot of party performances, she noticed that her preference lies in singing beautiful easy listening songs. Creating atmosphere and coziness goes without saying when Mieke is there with her musical wallpaper.
