Personal preparation, creative transitions, and a feel for the crowd are always key.

MIKEVICE—formerly known as DJ Magic Mike—is a professional all-around DJ from Amsterdam who performs at weddings, corporate parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and other events where the dance floor takes center stage.

ALL-AROUND WITH A CLUB VIBE

MIKEVICE’s sound is diverse, distinctive, and energetic. Expect a seamless blend of disco, funk, R&B, hip-hop, Latin, pop, dance classics, and modern house. Not just a random collection of songs, but an evening that’s musically structured and constantly tailored to the energy of the crowd.

A party can start off calmly with soul, funk, disco, and accessible classics. As soon as the guests are ready to dance, MIKEVICE picks up the pace with familiar hits, surprising remixes, Latin, ’90s, ’00s, house, and modern dance. The exact mix takes shape on the night itself, allowing different age groups and musical tastes to come together naturally.

PERSONAL PREPARATION

Before the event, MIKEVICE is happy to discuss your wishes, the schedule, and the composition of the guest list. There’s room to include favorite songs, an opening track, must-plays, and music you’d rather avoid. For a wedding, the musical accompaniment for the first dance and other important moments can also be tailored to your preferences.

During the party, there’s always room for song requests, as long as they fit the atmosphere and the musical flow of the evening. MIKEVICE combines this preparation with his experience and sense of timing.

FROM DINNER TO A PACKED DANCE FLOOR

MIKEVICE can kick off the musical evening as early as the reception, cocktail hour, or after dinner. At that point, the music is tailored to the setting and the desired volume. From this relaxed atmosphere, the evening gradually builds toward the party.

When the dance floor opens, MIKEVICE brings different generations together with a creative mix of familiar tunes and surprises. He switches smoothly between styles, always taking the audience’s reaction into account.

EXPERIENCE AND MUSICAL BACKGROUND

Michael grew up in Rotterdam, where he was introduced to the energy of the club scene. He later moved to Amsterdam, where he further developed his broad musical style. He now has over ten years of experience at weddings, corporate parties, private events, and party venues both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Clients particularly appreciate his personal communication style, flexibility, and ability to read the crowd. His approach is simple: play the right song at every moment and ensure that the evening flows seamlessly as a whole.

LIVE SAX OPTION AVAILABLE

The DJ set can be expanded to include a live saxophonist upon request. MIKEVICE will still provide the music throughout the entire evening, while the saxophonist joins in at carefully chosen moments.

The saxophonist can be featured as a brief surprise or with multiple live sets spread throughout the party. Please mention in your request that you’re interested in live sax, so we can discuss the options and pricing.
