I find it very rewarding to work on the party of your life. I am entirely at your service. It is all about what music you want to hear. I do not have a dj-ego. I do have an enormous music collection and a very broad music taste, so I like to play almost all kinds of music.

My name is Sacco Koster. I live in Amsterdam and have been a DJ since 1994. Music is my passion, and DJing for others is my profession. I’ve always done this in clubs and at well-known festivals. Since 2010, I’ve specialized in DJing at weddings, private parties, and company parties. Every year, about 50 couples and companies hire me to DJ at their weddings or company parties. If needed, I’ll even provide all the sound and lighting equipment myself.

ALL-AROUND MUSIC
Your guests’ ages and musical tastes will likely vary widely. That’s why I usually play a very diverse set. You’re welcome to specify which music and which decades you’d like to emphasize. A few examples:

- Good and cheesy ’90s hits
- Pop and disco from the ’70s and ’80s
- Dance music from the past 30 years
- Classic soul, rock ’n’ roll, and fun ’50s/’60s hits (always works well for getting the over-60s out on the dance floor right from the start)

In addition, there are many specific genres I’d be happy to play if you’ve indicated that you’d like to hear them:

- R&B and hip-hop from the past and present
- Happy hardcore, hardstyle (but not all night long)
- Classic rock
- Alternative rock and new wave
- Dutch-language music
- World music, such as Latin, reggaeton, salsa, Surinamese, African, and Balkan beats
- Specific requests? I’m always open to discovering new music.

I’m not the kind of DJ who talks nonstop all night. I do make brief announcements, though. And if guests come up to me with requests, I’ll be happy to play them. Of course, I’ll also take your musical preferences into account. During the party, I’ll ensure the volume is just right, keeping both your preferences and the venue’s requirements in mind.

Since I’ve been a DJ for over 30 years, I know exactly how to get everyone on the dance floor—and keep them there. So you definitely don’t have to worry about that.

VENUES AND EQUIPMENT

I generally perform throughout the country and have my own sound and lighting equipment, which I can bring along if a venue doesn’t have its own. This equipment is ideal for parties of up to 125 people. For larger parties, or if the event is far away, I work with professional partners who can set up the equipment. They have high-quality sound and disco lighting equipment. For an additional fee, we can always provide extras such as lighting effects, a smoke machine, a strobe light, and a disco floor.

TIMELINE
