Lieuwe Albertsma, better known as Wulf, broke through in 2016 with Sam Feldt’s collaboration with Lucas &
Steve, “Summer On You,” which has since racked up more than 90 million streams. In 2017, Wulf
scored a major hit with his own debut single “Mind Made Up,” which spent no fewer than 14 weeks on the
Top 40 and earned him an Edison Award. Other
hits quickly followed, such as “All Things Under The Sun” and “Switching Gears.” In the years that followed, Wulf toured as a
proven live act, performing at all the major venues and festivals, and went on to film for “Beste Zangers,”
which aired during the 2020 season.

But this success also brought its own challenges. Wulf lost himself in the hustle and bustle of
life as an artist and reached a point where he temporarily lost his passion for music.

Instead of clinging to all the fame and success, Wulf chose to
take a step back while abroad and look at the bigger picture. During this break, he realized
what’s truly important in life; true wealth isn’t found in money and success, but in connection,
making memories, and the world around us. These insights inspired him to start a new
chapter in his career.

His latest single, “Broke,” reflects this personal journey. Wulf shares this
message, drawing on his experience of knowing what it means to hit rock bottom as well as to reach the peak of
success. It’s about finding happiness in the little things, cherishing precious
moments, and the importance of connection with others.

Wulf invites his audience to take a moment
to reflect on what truly matters. Now, stronger and wiser than ever, Wulf is returning to the stage. This
marks the beginning of a new era for an artist who wants to shape his future
based on the lessons of the past. Wulf now makes music for himself. From these anthems of his own life, the
listener can draw strength, courage, support, and a sense of recognition.
