The Clarks is a Dutch classic rock cover band from The Hague, known for their energetic
performances of iconic hits. Originally, they focused primarily on music from the
'60s, but nowadays their focus is on the legendary classic rock hits from the '70s and '80s.

Since their inception, The Clarks have built a strong reputation as one of the most
successful classic rock cover bands in the Netherlands. They have performed all over the world, with
shows in Germany, the United States, South Africa, Indonesia, and Dubai, among other places. Their
international performances attest to their broad appeal and musical versatility.
One of the highlights of their career was their role as the house band on the television program
*Nederland Muziekland*.

In addition, they served as the regular house band for “Veronica Inside”
for several years, providing the musical accompaniment for the show. This led to
successful theater tours in collaboration with music connoisseur Johan Derksen, including
*Pioneers of Dutch Pop* and *Johan Derksen Keeps The Blues Alive*.

The Clarks are known for their authentic renditions of songs by legendary bands such as
The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and Golden Earring. They share a special
connection with the latter, which means they can still be booked today with the option of guest appearances by
none other than Rinus Gerritsen and Cesar Zuiderwijk for a special Golden Earring Tribute.
With their recent focus on music from the ’70s and ’80s, they now also bring songs by bands like
Queen and AC/DC to life. Guest appearances are possible here as well. How about the six-time
Grammy-nominated singer of the American band Anthrax, Joey Belladonna?

With a career spanning nearly four decades, The Clarks continue to play a prominent role
in the Dutch cover band scene. They know how to evoke nostalgia while also introducing new
generations to the timeless sounds of the best classic rock.
