Discover is a funk, soul, and disco band from Amsterdam that has been performing at weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, and private parties throughout the Netherlands since 2008. The band consists of six experienced musicians: two lead vocalists (Esther Bink and Steven David), keys, guitar, bass, and drums.

Our repertoire consists of timeless funk, soul, disco, and Motown classics by artists such as Chic, Stevie Wonder, Sister Sledge, Chaka Khan, and Marvin Gaye, complemented by contemporary funky hits like “Uptown Funk,” “Happy,” and “Get Lucky.” Think of songs like “Superstition,” “Le Freak,” “Ain’t Nobody,” “Lady Marmalade,” “Disco Inferno,” and “I Heard It Through the Grapevine.”

A performance consists of three sets of 50 to 60 minutes each. We provide the music for the pre-show and intermission ourselves. You’re also welcome to bring your own playlist. Sound and stage lighting can be booked as an extra option, with a more robust setup available for outdoor parties or events with more than 250 guests.
