Caroline & Joost – Acoustic pop, jazz, and soul
Caroline & Joost is an acoustic duo with a warm and stylish vibe, featuring vocals and guitar. They perform tasteful pop, jazz, and soul and set just the right mood for weddings, cocktail parties, dinners, or other events.
The duo consists of professional singer Caroline Rutten and guitarist Joost Zoeteman. Caroline won the Concours de la Chanson Alliance Française in 2019 and has been performing throughout the Netherlands ever since. In the summer of 2025, she appeared, among other things, during a live performance on NOS De Avondetappe. Joost is known for his distinctive guitar playing, which blends jazz, gypsy jazz, and contemporary pop. Together, they form a musical combination that sounds atmospheric and accessible.
From a special song during a ceremony to familiar tunes at a reception or atmospheric background music during a dinner: Caroline & Joost tailor their repertoire to the occasion and your wishes.
The duo is suitable for both intimate settings and larger events and provides all necessary sound equipment.
If desired, this duo can be expanded into a trio with a double bassist.

Een prachtig, intiem Frans optreden door dit lieve duo. Heel fijn om mee samen te werken, mooi gezongen en gespeeld en ik kon heel makkelijk en fijn tussendoor met ze schakelen. Echt een aanrader!

It was a real pleasure working with this super-cool duo. The singer’s warm voice, accompanied by the atmospheric accordionist, immediately immersed the guests in a “French” atmosphere during the event. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy an extensive set of French songs.

More than 150 guests enjoyed your performance immensely. With beautiful French chansons in the background, it was an enrichment of our party. Thank you
