Learn a choreography, see how participants join in one by one unexpectedly, and experience how you can work together to turn a seemingly spontaneous event into one big, cohesive whole. Flash Mob Workshop – Learn How to Organize a Flash Mob!

One person starts dancing out of nowhere. A moment later, someone else joins in. Then another person. And before bystanders realize what’s happening, a whole group is suddenly performing the same choreography.

That, of course, is the familiar image of a flash mob. But how do you make sure something like that actually works?

During our Flash Mob Workshop, you’ll discover this mainly by doing it yourselves.

Under the guidance of an experienced dance instructor, you’ll learn an accessible choreography step by step. No complicated dance moves that require years of experience—just energetic moves that even participants with no dance experience can pick up quickly.

Next, we’ll focus on what sets a flash mob apart from a regular dance routine: the build-up.

Who starts? When do the next participants join in? From where do you emerge? How do you make it look like participants are spontaneously coming out of the audience? And how do you ultimately get everyone to perform the same choreography at the same time?

We’ll practice different parts and gradually build out the flash mob. This way, you’ll experience firsthand how important timing, teamwork, paying close attention, and reacting at the right moment are.

That’s exactly what makes the workshop so much fun for companies. Colleagues don’t just have to learn the same dance moves; they also have to work together to ensure that all the different parts come together at exactly the right moment.

No dance experience is necessary at all. Our workshop leader adapts the difficulty level to the group and ensures that even participants who don’t usually take center stage can join in.

Want to actually perform the flash mob?
Would you like to actually perform the flash mob you learned as a surprise for an audience after the workshop? For example, during a company party, anniversary, conference, or event? That’s possible, too!
An actual performance is not a standard part of the workshop. This requires extra time to properly prepare and rehearse the choreography, setup, music, location, and the surprise moment.
The total workshop duration and price therefore depend on the desired performance, the number of participants, and the on-site situation.

The Flash Mob Workshop is perfect for company outings, team-building days, staff events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, groups of family and friends, and other events.

*Max. 25 participants per workshop leader.
*No dance experience is necessary.
*You’ll learn both the choreography and the typical structure of a flash mob.
*The choreography will be adapted to the group’s skill level and composition.
*Multiple back-to-back workshops or multiple workshop leaders at the same time are possible.
*An actual flash mob in front of an audience is optional and can be organized upon request.
*We provide the necessary sound equipment.
