Write and perform your own rap during 4XM’s Rap Workshop! Under the guidance of an experienced rapper, you’ll experiment with rhyme, rhythm, and words as you work toward creating your own track. A creative, energetic, and above all, fun workshop—perfect for a company outing, team-building day, or event!

Rap Workshop – Write & Perform Your Own Track!

Want to write a good rap? It might seem tricky, but with a few handy techniques, you’ll find there are surprisingly many possibilities.

During our Rap Workshop, we’ll take you on a journey into the world of rap and hip-hop. No complicated theory—just writing, experimenting, and performing.

We’ll start with the basics. How does rhyming work? How do you make sure your lyrics flow well over a beat? How do you structure a rap? And perhaps most importantly: what are you actually going to rap about?

Then you’ll get to work on your own. Depending on the group, you can work on a rap individually, in small teams, or as a group. Our rapper will help with topics, rhyme schemes, flow, and timing, and show you how to turn an idea, step by step, into lyrics that actually sound great over music.

For companies, we can tailor the content entirely to your organization, colleagues, industry, or the theme of the day. For example, create a rap about the company, your team, an anniversary, or a completely absurd topic that only your colleagues will understand.

Is the lyrics ready? Then it’s time for the next part: performing. Because a rap isn’t just on paper. You’ll practice how to deliver the lyrics to the beat and how voice, timing, rhythm, and stage presence bring the rap to life.

And no—you absolutely don’t need to be musical or have any experience rapping. Even participants who say upon arrival that they “definitely aren’t going to rap” usually get into writing and performing surprisingly quickly.

The workshop is all about creativity, language, humor, collaboration, and expressing yourself in a different way. The result is different every time, because the participants determine the content themselves.

1) Rap with Recording
After writing and practicing, we’ll record your rap. That way, you’ll end up not only with your own lyrics but with a real track that will be sent to you digitally as an MP3 afterward.

2) Rap with Music Video
Want to go all out? Then choose Rap with Music Video. We’ll not only create your own rap track but also film footage for a matching music video. The final result will be edited and delivered digitally afterward: your own track and music video.

These options are especially fun for company outings, anniversaries, and team-building days: you can watch or listen to the final result for years to come.

The Rap Workshop is perfect for company outings, team-building days, staff parties, conferences, bachelor/bachelorette parties, groups of family and friends, and events.

Our Rap Workshop is available throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, and the duration and content can be customized to suit your group.
