Using professional digital SLR cameras, you’ll head out on your own and experiment with composition, perspective, lighting, and camera techniques. A creative and hands-on workshop perfect for a company outing, team-building day, or event!

Photography Workshop – See the World Through a Different Lens!

These days, we take photos all day long with our smartphones. But what happens when you put that phone away for a moment and get your hands on a real digital SLR camera?

During our Photography Workshop, you’ll discover how a few smart techniques can help you take much better and more interesting photos.

We’ll start with a brief and easy-to-understand explanation of the basics of photography and how the camera works. How do you determine a good composition? How does light affect a photo? Which camera angle should you choose? And how can you use focus, perspective, and framing to create a completely different image?

After that, you’ll get to work in small groups. Each group will be given one of our DSLR cameras and will first decide what to photograph and how. Then you’ll leave the workshop space, and the location will become your playground.

Photograph colleagues, unique details, architecture, objects, or situations you might normally walk right past. Experiment with high and low camera angles, close-ups, light, reflections, and unexpected compositions. It’s precisely by trying things out that you’ll discover just how much of a difference small choices can make.

For companies, it’s especially fun that your own office, business premises, or event venue becomes the setting for the workshop. A boring conference room, staircase, coffee corner, or hallway can suddenly turn out to be a surprisingly interesting photo location when seen through the lens.

After the photo session, we’ll reconvene. We’ll review a selection of the photos taken together, and our photographer will provide feedback on the results. This feedback won’t just focus on what’s technically right or wrong, but mainly on why a particular image works—or doesn’t. We’ll also cover photo selection and editing during the workshop.

No prior photography experience is necessary. Our workshop leader will explain how to use the camera step by step, so even participants who’ve never used an SLR camera before can quickly get started on their own.

And of course, the photos won’t just disappear from our cameras afterward: we’ll send you digital copies of the photos you took. That way, you’ll have a fun and lasting memento of the workshop right away.

The workshop is perfect for company outings, team-building days, staff events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, groups of family and friends, and other events.

*We bring a case containing 6 professional digital SLR cameras.
*No experience with photography or SLR cameras is necessary.
*The photos taken will be sent to you digitally afterward.
*It’s possible to book multiple workshops back-to-back or have multiple workshop leaders at the same time.

Our Photography Workshop is available throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, and the duration and content can be tailored to your group.
