Two guitars, two voices, nothing else. Devils in Disguise takes seventy years of pop music back to its roots: from Elvis and The Beatles, through Golden Earring, 10cc, and The Police, to Bløf and Ed Sheeran. From living rooms to festival stages, with their own unique sound and ready to play in under half an hour. Always live. Always spot-on.

Devils in Disguise is an acoustic guitar duo: two guitars, two voices, and multi-part harmonies. We typically play two 45-minute sets, with background music during the intermission. We set up in half an hour, bring our own sound system, and need nothing more than a few square meters of space and a power outlet. The volume adjusts to the flow of the evening: subdued during the welcome, dinner, or reception, and at full volume for sing-alongs toward the end. No frills, no minute-long guitar solos, no deafening decibels—just two musicians who read the room and adapt without losing their own style.

The Repertoire

Wide-ranging and familiar: from the timeless pop of The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel to the soul of George Michael, from the British pop of 10cc to the American rock of The Eagles, and from Bløf to De Dijk in Dutch. And for those who appreciate it: a few songs about Scheveningen. Everything is given its own acoustic twist—two guitars that complement each other, interwoven with harmonies you won’t soon forget. No karaoke vibe, but a warm reinterpretation of songs everyone knows.

Prices and Options

Basic performance for a party or event: 3 × 45 minutes or 2 × 60 minutes, including sound system, setup, and travel expenses within 100 km—starting at €500

Public performance in a restaurant or bar: 3 × 45 minutes or 2 × 60 minutes, including sound system, setup, and travel costs within 100 km — starting at €250, provided promotion is possible

Living room concert: one 60-minute set, fully acoustic without amplification, for up to approximately 40 guests, starting at €250

Additional options: ceremony music and rehearsing a request or opening dance, background music via our sound system between sets, and additional sound and lighting for larger venues and stages.

About David and Joël
We’ve been playing together for over thirty years, and you can hear it. We both work in the events industry, from technical support to event planning. But it’s on stage that we really come alive. Together, we perform at weddings and wedding receptions, birthdays and anniversaries, corporate parties, staff get-togethers and receptions, in music cafes, at garden parties and on festival stages, and in living rooms.

Speaking of living rooms: we play completely acoustically without amplification, or with very subtle amplification if space allows, for about 10 to 40 guests. One 60-minute set or two 40-minute sets—or whatever works best for you. All we need is a corner of the room and two chairs.
