Necessity Nederpop is the brand new formation of the Northern Netherlands. The band consists of seasoned musicians who have earned their spurs in well-known Nederpop bands such as PuurNL and Ennuwij.

With a rock-solid setlist, Noodzaak Nederpop pays tribute to the rich Dutch-language musical heritage. Expect the all-time greatest hits that everyone sings along to word for word, but also get ready for the hidden gems and forgotten B-sides from the most famous Dutch artists. It’s precisely these musical surprises that make this band unique.

From a packed café to a lively festival, village fair, or King’s Day celebration: Noodzaak Nederpop delivers a celebration of familiarity, pure nostalgia, and an energy that spreads to the audience. A packed dance floor and a wild atmosphere are guaranteed!
