Biography:
From 2006, after the death of both parents (mother was an opera singer) in October that year, I heard music in my head almost every day. The sketches for this were, inexplicably, every time in French!
Together with a cellist (Eline Toebes) and an opera singer (Marjolein Latour), the chansons were then adapted to perform professionally.
The music (inspired by the 60s and 70s I kept to myself for a long time; it was impossible to reconcile with my work in the IT sector. Once a coach (Ornella Bahli hailing from Lyon) was found, much time and attention was paid to both pronunciation and grammar. In turn, she introduced me to Guillaume Marcenac (arranger, producer and conductor of the musicals: Frozen and Soldier of Orange). Much of Guillaume Marcenac's work can be seen on Youtube. Guillaume is also the arranger of Tess Merlot who is doing a lot of work in various theaters and TV recordings (including those of Matthijs van Nieuwkerk). Together with Guillaume Marcenac on piano, Gerardo Rosales on percussion, Andor Horvath on bass guitar and Laura Gonzales Badenes on cello, we perform for both large and small audiences. The music ranges from quiet and subdued chansons to Latin American, danceable music.
