Nick Nicolai, born on December 11, 1997, in Gouda, is a Dutch singer with a
powerful and distinctive voice that resonates with a wide audience. He gained national
recognition through his appearance on Holland’s Got Talent in 2016, where he
impressed the judges and the audience with his stunning rendition of the classic “At Last”
by Etta James. His performance earned him a golden ticket and ultimately the win on
the popular television show—a breakthrough that laid the foundation for his musical
career.

Music has played a major role in Nick’s life since his earliest childhood. As a toddler,
he was already sitting behind the drum set with his father and dancing to whatever came out of the speakers.
At the age of nine, he performed in front of a large audience for the first time at his
sister’s wedding, where it immediately became clear that performing was in his blood.
After his victory, Nick released several English-language singles, including “Superstition,”
“Soul Man,” and “Here I Am.” With his warm, soulful voice, he managed to
set himself apart. In recent years, he has continued to develop as a versatile artist and has
performed on various stages and in various television shows, consistently making it to the
semifinals or finals.

In January 2025, Nick met producer and label manager Frank Verkooyen, after which an
intensive collaboration began. Together with their team, they are working on a clear
musical direction, with Nick increasingly focusing on Dutch-language repertoire, without
losing his love for English-language soul and pop. In the spring of 2025, he released his
first true Dutch-language single, “Als je zegt dat je twijfelt,” a unique
cover of a song by the American band Train.
With his versatility, strong live performances, and distinctive voice, Nick Nicolai continues to
evolve within the Dutch music industry.

Nick is available for a wide range of performances. He offers an energetic half-hour
live set, but extended dinner shows with multiple segments are also among the
options. Nick is also available for exclusive corporate parties and business
events. During these performances, he presents a varied mix of both
Dutch-language and English-language songs, allowing him to connect with any audience and
round out the evening musically.
