Stretto is an atmospheric semi-acoustic 4-piece band from the Alkmaar region. With warm vocals, (semi) acoustic instruments and a versatile repertoire, they bring familiar songs to life, from soul and pop to 60's, 70's and easy-listening. Perfect for weddings, parties, ceremonies, dinners and events.

Jennifer, Gerben, Gert Jan and Richard have known each other for quite some time through church, where they sang together in the choir Encore. Since a few years they are part of the music team of Hart voor Heerhugowaard, where they accompany the congregation musically during church services.
Jennifer has also been performing as an acoustic duo with Gert Jan or Gerben at weddings, parties and as background music during dinners. When the corona pandemic broke out in March 2020, they were asked to provide weekly music for Hart voor Heerhugowaard's online church services as a musical trio. This proved to work so well that they decided to form an acoustic band together.
Not long after, bassist/guitarist Richard joined, making the four of them a complete band. When performing, they use their own sound system so that vocals and instruments are always well balanced. The volume can of course be adjusted for each occasion. For larger venues, they also like to bring their own sound man.
