Jennifer performs live music with a pianist/guitarist in an atmospheric duo formation. Ideal for ceremonies, dinners, small parties and intimate events. From soulful ballads to well-known pop hits, always the perfect atmosphere. Any requests? Feel free to let us know in advance!

Ever since I was four years old, I have loved to sing every day. I was brought up on music: my parents sang in a church choir and at an early age I joined the church children's choir. There I quickly discovered my love of singing and grew to be a soloist, regularly singing with the church combo.

At thirteen, I began taking voice and piano lessons and participated for the first time in my high school's talent show: The Grand Prix. From that moment I knew for sure: singing is what I wanted to do.

My participation in the television program Zing jezelf een TMF Award (2007) on TMF and later X-Factor (2009) on RTL4 brought me one step closer to that dream. I made it to the live shows, gaining an amazing experience, with great performances and valuable connections as a result. In 2011 I graduated from the Music/Artist MBO program at the Art & Entertainment College in Amsterdam, after which I was able to start working professionally as a performing musician.

A special musical moment followed in 2012, when I got to perform during the Rabo Spotlight talent show accompanied by pianist Cor Bakker.

Besides live performances, my love for musical also grew. Since 2013 I play regularly in productions of different musical societies and performed various (main) roles, including Evita, Mrs. Pot (Belle & the Beast), Nancy (Oliver!), Lady of the Lake (Spamalot) and Inez (Zorro). To develop further, I attended the preliminary training at theater school De Trap in Amsterdam and later studied at the Frank Sanders Academy.

In 2017 I got to sing with Karin Bloemen at the DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam and in 2018 I competed in The Voice of Holland.

Nowadays I perform at weddings, ceremonies, restaurants, receptions, memorial services, churches, events and parties, among others. Usually I do this together with a pianist or guitarist, with my semi-acoustic band Stretto, or with my disco/soul cover band Défusion.

I also have my own small sound set and an extensive collection of acoustic backing tracks, allowing me to perform solo if necessary. My repertoire is wide and I am happy to study special request songs for a special occasion.

The styles of music that suit me most are soul, 80's rock, pop, Top 40, disco and jazz.
