Laterna Magica or "The Magic Lantern" is a visual theater performance suitable for ages 6+.
A flashlight serves as a magic lantern that illuminates the world of theater. Award winning Illusionist Tim Horsting talks about theater technique, film, pantomime, street theater and how he uses every aspect of theater making to amaze his audience. He does this through a number of classic optical illusions.
A unique combination of theater lecture, visual theater, shadow play and illusion.
The performance is suitable for upper/secondary schools/libraries and small theaters. Because the performance is about working in the theater, it also fits within the theme of children's book week.

Tim gave away a fun show for the children and kept them entertained for a long time even though they were getting impatient because of the arrival of St. Nicholas. The addition of the balloons for the children helped.

Tim performed at our party last Saturday. He did that fun: juggling at the tables, so it's almost private, while the rest of the party continues. He had nice acts, which he performed well. At the end he did a fire act, of which we were impressed. Nice guy, nice acts, a good addition to our party!
