Do you want to get married with Angela Groothuizen as your wedding officiant? You can! Besides her work as a singer, presenter and judge, Angela is also an official BABS (Buitengewoon Ambtenaar van de Burgerlijke Stand). With her warm personality, humor and unique style, she will make your ceremony a special and personal moment.
"There may be laughter, out loud or just a smile, but there may also be a tear dried," Angela explains. "When I become your wedding officiant we have a long conversation beforehand in which I want to know everything about your love. Your story. I write that out and make sure it becomes a story that you recognize yourselves in and that the audience can chuckle at."
If you wish, Angela can also sing an appropriate song during the wedding day. There are several songs to choose from and everything will be tailored to your wishes. So your day will have a beautiful musical addition that perfectly suits the wedding.
Angela's management arranges the application in the relevant municipality, but this
is subject to the conditions of that municipality and the location. In most municipalities this is a formality, but in some municipalities Angela's swearing-in (as babs in Alkmaar) is not sufficient. Sometimes municipalities do not want to work with external wedding officiants at all. Also, the location must be officially approved as a wedding location, but this applies to all babes, and we have no further influence on this.

It was 'a bit messy' during the event, blood hot in the room with not the easiest crowd. And also had a 'thingy' a day beforehand so for me Angela can't be wrong. Never expected her to be such a good host but I would say book her!!!
