Would you like to be married by Angela Groothuizen, then that is certainly possible. Besides being a singer, presenter and judge, Angela Groothuizen is also officially a BABS (Buitengewoon Ambtenaar van de Burgerlijke Stand) and with her unique character will be an added value at your wedding!

"There may be laughter, out loud or just a smile, but there may also be a tear dried," Angela explains. "When I become your wedding officiant we have a long conversation beforehand in which I want to know everything about your love. Your story. I write that out and make sure it becomes a story that you recognize yourselves in and that the audience can chuckle at."

Should there be a need, Angela can also sing an appropriate song. There are many songs to choose from. Everything custom made. With Angela Groothuizen, your wedding ceremony will be an unforgettable highlight of your wedding day!

Angela's management arranges the application in the respective municipality, but this is subject to the conditions of that municipality and the location. In most municipalities this is a formality, but in some municipalities the swearing in of Angela (as babs in Alkmaar) is not sufficient. Sometimes municipalities do not want to work with external wedding officiants at all. Also, the location must be officially approved as a wedding location, but this applies to all babes, and we have no further influence on this.
