Weddings, corporate and private parties, fairgrounds, festivals or just in the backyard? Doesn't matter to us. Genre: Pop, rock, funk, disco and Dutch, mainly from the 70's to the 00's
This enthusiastic group of experienced musicians has performed at many weddings, events, and casual bar nights. We’re not professional musicians, but our semi-professional approach, sense of humor, and interaction with the audience ensure that our music is widely appreciated. We prove that a full-evening program packed with familiar and danceable music doesn’t have to be expensive. You’re always welcome to get to know us with no obligation—for example, during a rehearsal evening at our own space in picturesque Obdam.
We can tailor our setlist to your preferences! For weddings, we can learn a few song requests especially for you. Appropriate attire, themed evening? No problem! We provide our own lighting and sound equipment suitable for small venues. Ask about
our current setlist and the possibilities!
Although we’d love to perform “full-scale,” we’ve often encountered situations where the venue has limited space and/or restrictions on sound levels. We can adapt to these situations by setting up a compact stage and, for example, using an electronic drum kit or even playing semi-acoustically. It’s a bit less intense, but definitely worth it. Ask about the options!
We generally perform only on weekends and/or during holidays.
Our starting price is 770 euros for 3 x 60 minutes of live music, including sound and lighting, within the province of North Holland. We charge additional fees for rehearsing requested songs and/or for performances outside our province.
We currently have a repertoire of about 90 songs, from which you can choose approximately 45. 60 minutes of music is about 15 songs.

Bad Name cover band is a band that made our wedding complete! From the beginning we had good communication and there was an instant click between us and the band. We had every choice to create a perfect set list for our wedding. From rock to pop, from 80's to 00's. During the wedding, the band had brought inflatable guitars and this really made the atmosphere. All our guests were pulled along with their enthusiasm and regularly we still get to hear how cool the party was, and this thanks to the band! As a great closing song Killing in the Name Of, which all our guests were jumping to! The band is also really cheap! For many a DJ, with only his records you pay more. The band took both light and sound!

September 14, 2024 was the day; 40 years of marriage and it was celebrated at the gasworks in Alkmaar. Under the motto of a tent with a band we sought contact with Bad Name. A good choice it soon turned out. Both the preparation and the performance exceeded our expectations. It started with a set list from which we could choose our favorite songs. Then an invitation to get acquainted during a rehearsal of the band. What could go wrong then; nothing. We enjoyed the music and the full dance floor. Highlight was the intermission session with our granddaughter (just turned 1) behind the drum kit. Unforgettable. A top party thanks in part to Bad Name.

We were looking for a band for my birthday party and Bad Name Coverband was tipped off. Because we had seen (and heard) the band once at the Oranjebal in Heiloo we didn't have to think about it for long. From the first moment there was good contact and we were invited to come by during a rehearsal. This was not necessary for us because we had already heard and seen the band play. The fun begins when you receive the long list of songs to choose from. Voting for the Top2000 is easier :-) On the party night itself, the band was there on time, with all the equipment so we didn't have to arrange anything ourselves. Sarina and the rest of the band radiated fun, involved the partygoers and really made it a party. In any case, my party definitely became extra fun because of you guys. Thank you so much!

My husband and I saw the band for the first time in a cafe in Heiloo. The atmosphere was wonderful and the interaction with the audience was also very nice! We looked at each other and immediately knew that this was what we wanted for our wedding! After nice contact with the band we were allowed to choose songs from a large repertoire. We went to rehearsals to talk to them about the wedding and so we could listen to the songs again live. On our Big Day, they played fantastic! Our guests danced and roared along with the songs. The band had brought inflatable guitars that both guests and we could go wild with! They even took the time and effort to put on a surprise act with our family. We look back on a great evening!
