Are you looking for a charming Dutch-speaking singer who can turn any party into an unforgettable evening? Then you’ve come to the right place. Michel brings a great atmosphere, a warm vibe, and familiar sing-alongs for all ages.

What and How?
Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, company party, pub night, neighborhood party, or other event: with a performance by Michel Zingt, you’re guaranteed entertainment that people will be talking about for a long time to come.

During your party, we’ll start with music to get everyone in the mood. Then, there will be three live performances of about 30 to 40 minutes each, during which Michel will work with you and your guests to make it an unforgettable party. Between performances, we’ll keep the music playing, and song requests are more than welcome.
Lighting and sound are all included in the price. But please feel free to contact us to let us know your specific wishes.

Biography:
We’re at Casablanca, a popular karaoke bar on Zeedijk in the center of Amsterdam. A board on the wall listing thousands of songs with their numbers. A pen, a piece of paper—you write down your name and the number of your song, hand it in to DJ Johan, and then wait for your turn.

That’s how I started singing in 2010. It was around that time that I discovered I enjoyed it and so could be found at the Casablanca more and more often. After receiving several compliments—which I initially brushed off, fueled by my own insecurity—I decided to take singing lessons. Through singer Jeff van Vliet, I ended up with Kees Taal, himself an opera singer and coach to various well-known artists such as Roel van Velzen, Yves Berendse, and Rene Froger.

For two years, I paid various visits to Kees and got to know my voice. We did some great exercises, and I learned that your vocal cords are muscles that could use a good warm-up before exertion. We also got to work on “delivering” a song. “You’re telling a story, and I want to believe you,” Kees would say sternly.

A few years have passed since then, and after a long period of rest and the pandemic, I’m picking up the microphone again and singing my way through life.

Generally, I love singing in Dutch, with the occasional English song, but above all, I turn it into an epic party!
