WORDS BIND AND BREAK
Henrike van Engelenburg is a writer, sand artist, linguist & cultural expert - with a keen eye for organizational dynamics and the perspective of a Co-driver (living and working alongside autism). She is also a former theater producer
Stories touch and connect. Words cause war and peace. Words matter. Whether in fiction, experiential or professional communication, how we shape our stories determines how they land with others.
In this lecture, I explore the power of narrative - how words can create movement, but also cause stasis when experiences are not given language. How stories raise awareness, bring people closer together or, conversely, make them live alongside each other.
This lecture shows how language, connection and perspective shifting can help people understand each other better, especially when the dynamics between them are complex or confusing.

Henrike guided SKJ in a very authentic contemporary way through a very complex governance process. The results were surprising and concrete. To get started right away! (via Google)

An original performance with beautiful sand drawings. Together the themes chosen to match the audience. Vulnerable & honest anecdotes that speak to the imagination. Pleasant cooperation! (via Google)
