Meet Max van Houtum (25) - the saxophonist who will make your private event pop with live energy and style. Max started playing the saxophone at age nine and graduated from Codarts (Rotterdam conservatory) in 2024 in jazz saxophone. Since 2022, he has been performing regularly with DJs throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. The result? A seamless blend of club vibes and live showmanship that takes every party to the next level.
Max is an exceptional soloist and a true showman: he reads the room, sets the dance floor in motion and builds effortlessly to those unforgettable drops. From Pop to House, Soul to Jazz-and everything in between-Max switches between moods at lightning speed. In addition to his work with DJs, he leads his own 10-piece Afrobeat band and has played in the Young Metropole Orchestra, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and with De Toppers In Concert.
