Discover how LEGO® Serious Play® puts teams in motion. You'll build, narrate and decide-and walk away with clarity, ownership and first steps you can implement immediately.
What is LEGO® Serious Play®?
A hands-on method for making complex issues visible and discussable. Instead of long discussions, you build models that tell your story. This accelerates understanding, increases engagement and leads to better decisions.
What do we do in this introductory session?
- Brief framework & example - why building works (psychology, equal input).
- Mini building assignments; everyone builds a model to a simple question (e.g., "What does success mean to this team?").
- Sharing & making meaning; each person explains what the model symbolizes; we listen, ask through and make connections.
- Identifying patterns, opportunities and bottlenecks .
- From insight to action - we formulate 2-3 concrete steps with owners and time horizon.
Why it works
- Doing > talking: building activates creativity
and critical thinking.
- Every voice counts: everyone builds and shares, so no dominance by a few voices.
- Complexity becomes manageable: models make abstract themes tangible.
- Faster to decision: shared images shorten the route to agreement.
For whom is this suitable?
Teams, departments and organizations that want to accelerate from talking to doing. Such as project teams, (product) leadership, change teams, departments that want to improve collaboration or focus.
No "creativity" needed: meaning is the focus, not beautiful building.
This workshop is also great for large groups at, say, an organization day as a change from presentations. For large groups I may need to add a co-facilitator, this will always be by mutual agreement.
