Bickel is a singer, composer and storyteller who takes audiences on a musical journey with his penetrating voice and versatile sound. His style moves somewhere between indie pop and alternative rock, with influences from blues, folk and psychedelic music. From intimate, fragile moments to powerful bursts full of energy with Bickel, no performance is the same!

Hailing from Amsterdam and raised in a creative family, Bickel discovered his love for music at an early age. What began with playing guitar at age 12 grew into a passion for writing his own songs full of depth and emotion. His music is rooted in the tradition of artists like The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Arctic Monkeys, but at the same time exudes a contemporary vibe like The Strokes, Gorillaz and MGMT.

Bickel can be booked through Showbird from €835 (excluding VAT) for a live performance full of his own work and surprising interpretations of well-known songs. The price includes a complete show that can be booked either solo or with his six-piece band, tailored to the setting and audience.

During his shows, Bickel merges two worlds: grand and bombastic on the one hand, small and intimate on the other. His warm, slightly-nasal voice switches effortlessly between raw power and gentle melancholy. With his philosophical lyrics and compelling melodies, he knows how to touch the listener, straight to the heart.
