Roti chicken/lamb - Flatbread with curry chicken or lamb, potato and vegetables.
Moksi alesi - Rice dish with vegetables, meat or fish and spices.
Saoto soup - Javanese chicken soup with vermicelli, bean sprouts, egg and spices.
Noodles or nasi special - Surinamese noodles or nasi, often served with chicken, satay or pumpkin.
Pom - Oven dish of tayerknol, chicken and spices, typical at feasts.
Brown beans with rice - Often served with salt meat, sausage or chicken.

Bara - Hindu snack made of dough with urdi beans, deep fried.
Pasty - Savoury dough snack filled with chicken or vegetables.
Spring rolls - With chicken or vegetable filling.
Saté ajam/babi - Chicken or pork satay with peanut sauce.

Bakkeljauw - Salted cod with tomato and onion, often on bread or with cassava.
Peanut soup with fish - Rich peanut soup with fish or chicken, vegetables and rice/cassava.

Bojo - Cassava and coconut cake.
