Brass Band Schoonhoven A belongs to the top of the international brass bands. Since its promotion to the Champion's Division in 1998, the band has been a frequent Dutch champion and has won numerous international awards. Internationally, the band is not only heard at competitions, but also by giving concerts: with (gala) concerts in England, Austria, France and South Africa, among others, the A-Band is a much sought-after and welcome guest on stages worldwide.
From classical brass band works and light music to adaptations of film and pop music: the A-Band's repertoire is broad and flexible. In addition to full concerts, the band also provides musical contributions to events or ceremonies. The A-Band is also experienced in performing with artists
and has several top soloists who, upon request, shine with virtuoso or soul-stirring solos.
