Goverts Bluesband brings an energetic mix of raw blues classics and surprising bluesy covers. With singer Jacqueline as a shining centerpiece and a band full of fun to play, we provide atmosphere, swing and goosebumps. Ideal for pubs, festivals and parties: we make it a top night!
Goverts Bluesband is a 5-piece band from the middle of the Netherlands. Founded in 2014, the band plays old and new blues, with fun and energy at the forefront. Singer Jacqueline van den Berg is a guarantee for a party and is supported by Govert Muijs (blues harp), Harry Koene (guitar), Daniel Snelders (drums) and Stephan Broer van Dijk (bass).
The repertoire ranges from the most famous blues covers, through 70s and 80s covers to more recent bluesy played covers by Anouk, for example.
We play 2-3 sets of 60-90 minutes.
For pub stages and festivals, but also for parties and celebrations. We are a guarantee for a top evening!
For more 'intimate' evenings an acoustic performance is also among the options.

Thank you for your performance at our anniversary jazz festival in Enkhuizen. I was able to listen to you and it sounded more than fine. Totally what we expected in advance. I hope everything went well for you. Unfortunately, I was not able to get acquainted due to work pressure, but we may do so during a next edition.
