Who is Coba?
During her shows, singer-comedienne Jeannette Scheffer steps into the shoes of blonde Coba, a former bar owner from downtown The Hague. With her warm alto voice, a big heart, and an infectious boldness, she sings about life in all its facets.
She’s accompanied by the Cobets, three fantastic musicians who’ve more than earned their stripes in the music world and who enjoy the performances just as much as Coba does.
A cozy atmosphere and interaction with her audience characterize Coba & the Cobets’ performances, alongside rock-solid music and great lyrics. Afterward, everyone goes home in high spirits!

Coba gets you in the mood with a varied program full of swing and cheer. Original songs about cigarettes, nylon stockings, and chocolate are interspersed with swinging jazz, delightful romance, and warm nostalgia from the turbulent times of a Netherlands that has since vanished.
The music has stood the test of time and has been given a fresh twist by Coba and her three amazing musicians.
In addition, Coba celebrates her own freedom, knowing that this precious achievement must be defended with all her might. And she does just that with her strongest weapon: her songs.

Coba has created various shows in which she has demonstrated her wonderful voice and her ability to feel at home in all genres. In this show, she once again treats the audience to her bold and humorous repertoire.

We’ll discuss the expected audience in advance to tailor the setlist accordingly, and Coba can also host the party or event.
