The brass players of Echt Koper are inspired by German, Austrian, and Italian brass ensembles such as Da Blechhauf'n, Kaisermusikanten, Berthold Schick and his Allgau 6, and Viera Blech. The repertoire of Echt Koper features a multitude of titles from these groups. This repertoire performs very well with the audience at German party nights, fairs, and other events where musicality and atmosphere are appreciated.

"Echt Koper" is the brass ensemble of music association Excelsior Papendrecht. The group of 7-9 experienced musicians, composed of the brass sections of the association, shares a passion for performing wind music on brass instruments.In 2022, Corona (COVID-19) was the limiting factor for making music in groups. When the strict measures were eased, the brass players sought each other out and began rehearsing challenging music. Inspiration for the music selection was drawn from several German, Austrian, and Italian (professional) brass groups such as: Da Blechhauf’n, Berthold Schick & Seine Allgau 6, Innsbrucker Böhmische, and Viera Blech. Yes, the standard has been set high by the brass players and serves as a great motivation to work hard on the club's performances. Meanwhile, Echt Koper is increasingly performing both domestically and abroad. Performances: Oktoberfest, Christmas markets, harvest festival, corporate parties, intermezzo at music associations.
