Caribbean Brass International guarantees dazzling performances and a dynamic show. Caribbean Brass is requested for weddings, parties, openings, parades, disco performances, fairs, multi-cultural events, birthdays, carnival parades, etc.
The Caribbean Brass International is a running dance orchestra. The band consists of a number of horns and drummers. The musicians are young people from the Caribbean, including Aruba, Antilles, Santo Domingo, Surinam, Haiti and Ghana, and live in Amsterdam and Almere, who interact fraternally with each other.
The Afro-Caribbean music/show band Caribbean Brass International was founded in 1986 by Aruban and Antillean students, who have played in a brass band since childhood. Most of them returned to their native island in the Caribbean
after finishing their studies.
The colourful society has strongly influenced the musical style of the Caribbean brass band. The music is a combination of Spanish, European, African and Indian elements, such as samba, soca, calypso, merenque and modern music.
The lightning fast rhythmic music they play has its origins in the biggest folk festival of the year, the Carnival. This is the cultural highlight in the Caribbean.
The power and enthusiasm with which the musicians play seem inexhaustible and the rhythm is contagious. It is impossible to keep the legs and hips still. The Caribbean Brass International steps up, both on stage and in the midst of the audience. The group puts on a dazzling show that can be performed in practically every venue.
Since 1998 we have also set up a youth department with boys up to 15 years old. This youth brass band The Caribbean Kids has created a lot of furore in a short period of time and is also a popular attraction at well-known events, fairs and sports events.
The Caribbean Brass International has performed with great success several times in almost all European countries and is the oldest and most famous Caribbean Brass Band in Europe. They perform with 12, 15, 18, 25 and 30 musicians. That depends on the wishes of a client.
The Caribbean show/dance group The Caribbean Force consists of a number of exotic dancers in beautiful Caribbean costumes, who give a dynamic dance show and if desired a Caribbean carnival show with samba, soca, merenque and folkdance. The Caribbean Force performs with and without the brass band.
